High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound

HIFU is our number one treatment used to transform and lift sagging skin and jowls, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and contour the cheekbones and jawline, resulting in a youthful look.

Focusing high-intensity ultrasound on the affected areas, collagen and elastin are stimulated into regrowth by the pulsing energy. The heat produced deep within the skin’s layers encourages these proteins to work together to create a more defined structure within the skin’s natural makeup.

Clients will experience a slight prickling sensation, but the procedure is painless and completely non-invasive.

What is HIFU?

High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) face and neck lift is one of the most popular and effective non-surgical treatments. It creates a facelift look without the need for invasive procedures. Ideal for mild to moderately lax skin. HIFU tightens, firms and lifts the skin with amazing results.

How does it work?

Collagen and elastin work together to create skin firmness and structure. As we age we become depleted of these vital proteins, causing the skin to wrinkle and become lax. HIFU stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin fibres by using focused ultrasound energy to heat the deep supportive layers of the skin. This process improves elasticity, creating a tighter, firmer and more lifted appearance. HIFU works on:skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, jowl lifting, brow lifting, neck lifting and tightening and enhancement of the jawline.

What results can I expect from HIFU?

Reconditioning and renewing the skin from within makes HIFU a highly effective skin tightening treatment with clients reporting visible results in facial contouring and skin firmness, and a decrease in fine lines and wrinkles. Results are permanent though future touch ups after 12 months may be required to stay ahead of the ageing process. We recommend 3 x 75 minute treatments over a course of 9 months for optimum results.

What will I experience at my appointment?

Ultrasound energy is delivered in short pulses via the HIFU device to the face and neck, targeting the deep layers of the skin. Many experience this as a light prickly sensation, but not painful. HIFU is a safe, non-invasive treatment, requiring no downtime.
